Eddie Bauer
Sub Pop Collab
Limited-edition campaign page for Eddie Bauer x Sub Pop.
This one-product capsule celebrated two iconic Pacific Northwest brands through a gritty-meets-outdoors lens. I led page design based on lookbooks developed by our Art Director and built the entire experience in CMS, using stylized baked-in text and layout overrides to capture the raw, irreverent energy of Sub Pop within Eddie Bauer’s framework.
My Role
Led campaign page design, translating art direction into interactive layout
Built full page in CMS, using image-based text assets for stylized presentation
Customized layout using flexible CMS modules and styling overrides
Balanced Sub Pop’s lo-fi attitude with Eddie Bauer’s visual standards
Collaborated with Art Director (lookbook), Creative Director, video and merchandising teams
Challenge:
This collab was about more than a flannel—it needed to feel like a moment. But with only one product and a small amount of content, the design had to carry all the storytelling weight. And because of CMS limitations, most of the type had to be delivered via pre-designed graphics.
Solution:
I designed a layout that leaned into Sub Pop’s iconic punk-meets-printshop vibe using visual rhythm, oversized type, and layered graphics. All copy was strategically baked into images to retain brand fidelity across screen sizes. I used layout spacing and pacing to create editorial impact while maintaining responsive integrity.
